A smattering of images from paper planes at design indaba expo 2015.
The stand, designed by the fabulous team at Fabricate, is made from post-consumer recycled materials with every part able to flat pack. Covering an area of 6x4m, the display is watched over by our massive tree, a nod to the concept of lekgotla - the coming together of people to discuss issues and share stories.
The artworks are printed on 350gsm Hahnemühle paper, marked with an embossing of the Paper Planes logo on the bottom right corner and hung using Art Grips.
The narrative wall at Expo ended up being 25 + meters long and is jam packed with illustrations from the public as well as exhibiting illustrators.
A GREAT big thank you to BRYAN VILJOEN for shooting the show for us.
